Elaine joins Steemit

Hi there internets,

I'm Elaine Dettmann, a Canadian artist based in Berlin Germany. I paint, mostly in watercolors but also in acrylics, and plan to start posting about my art here on Steemit. It looks like a promising platform with a growing audience of people with open minds, that also affords creators a lot of freedom.

I have a youtube channel, but I've found it hard to grow, as the site is extremely oversaturated with very "Instagramy" pop art. So meh. I may repost some of my older youtube videos here.
