Scrubling
A plant creature that lives for only one year. It sprouts in the spring, then waits to grow strong enough to uproot itself. When it reaches maturity it grows flowers which release pollen into the air as it moves around. When fertilized, it grows fruit which mature late summer through autumn. The fruit smell sweet and are very tasty. They attract many creatures that go on to distribute the seeds far and wide. When winter comes their leaves fall off, their bodies go soft, and they turn pale white. The seeds they left behind stay dormant until spring.
