Animal sketch: Bison.

Hello everyone,

I decided to do a study on animals I don't really know about then I come across a bison. The first time I ever heard of bison is from the cartoon series Avatar. I even thought its a made up name until when I read about them.

From my study I learnt they are strong animals, could outrun a human, their females are called a cow and their hound a calf. They make a poor pet and they are different from buffalos.

After that I decided to make a sketch out of it. I used tiny white strokes to achieve this sketch on a black background. I drew on Autodesk Sketchbook on my Camon 12 mobile phone.

PROCESS

  • I sketched out the shape of the drawing.

  • Then I started developing the drawing by accumulating the tiny white strokes for its fur and horns.
