On "Game of Thrones" Emilia Clarke plays Daenerys Stormborn of the House of Targaryen, a.k.a Khaleesi, a.k.a Mother of Dragons, a.k.a. wow she got a lot of names! Whatever you may prefer to call her, Emilia has stolen our hearts as we watch her and her dragons march across the world to claim her throne. I thought she would make a great subject for a portrait project and so here she is!
The Process...
If you have been following me for very long you may have noticed my pension the big screen. As a GenXer I was practically raised on the ol' boob tube. Even today as a web developer/designer and amateur artist I constantly have something running in the background. If I'm not catching up on the newest films or reliving a feel good classic, you can be sure a stream of binge worthy T.V. will be in play. With the final season of GoT slated for over a year out, I thought running back through the series in preparation was in order and here we are.
As always I am using Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 and my Wacom Intuos Touch Pen/Tablet.
