SPAIK BLOOP FESTIVAL!

The Mexican artist Spaik concluded an artistic project initiated for a year. Every year on the island of Ibiza, at the end of the season, the Bloop Festival continues to make the show! This international pro-active festival combines street art, video mapping, and other sculptures and installations on the festive island.

SPAIK, TWO YEARS AT THE BLOOP FESTIVAL!

In the previous edition, the theme was fear. Spaik had decided to paint an eagle on the ceiling of a tunnel, like a predator watching his prey! His warm and colorful style, like his country, is found in the imposing raptor with the sharp eyes that scrutinizes us! This year the theme of the Bloop festival was change!

This year he has literally changed his point of view. From heaven, one finds oneself, at the ground with its magnificent and dangerous snake. From the predator one becomes the prey! Reptiles have become a wound and a danger since the importation of olive trees (they make use of it as shelter) on the Canary Island.

The snake winds its entire length along the curved walls of the tunnel. Indeed, it takes place at the other end of the tunnel where the eagle is. His two creations impose their presence on the eye of passers-by!

Mexican artist Spaik performs two impressive works, both in artistic technique and in directing. Imagine staying with your head spilled for hours. This physical and artistic performance should be emphasized.
