Octopus Ceramic Planter~Process

My first coil built ceramic pot; I began by making small coils and building them on top of one another to form the tentacle shape. After the structure of the form was set I added the suckers to the sides and rounded the form to make it feel more organic. After bisque firing the piece I added a combination of a stain and 3 glazes and the end product gave me a beautiful blue textured glaze.
