Hello friends.

I have not published anything about my projects for a long time. I want to present you one in which I've been working for days, something I've wanted to do, it's a sketch for a tattoo I'm working on, a graphic representation of Matthew 10:16. I am not very religious but there are very interesting things in this, such as, this verse which says:
"I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves, therefore be as cunning as serpents and as simple as doves."

Some time ago my model asked me for a tattoo for a session of Photos which she wants to exhibit, the Idea is this, to make something representative of this verse.

Why? Well ... She is a faithful believer of religion, chose this verse because we live in a place full of wolves, we must survive as a place for it the best plan is to camouflage ourselves among them, show to be as hard and strong as them although inside we are a beautiful and delicate sheep.

I love tattooing as much as I love to illustrate, I also like to listen to every story that people have to tell, each tattoo represents a faithful story of each one and for me it is inspiring.

It is a sheep disguised as a Wolf.

A very ferocious wolf, intimidating and with his eyes showing that he imposes fear and is willing to eat anyone. A beautiful sheep, with a feminine, delicate, white and loving appearance.

This design was not very difficult, in fact it is quite simple and attractive, I still do not show it to my model and I still have many things to do, like placing the verse.
I will show you how I created it:

Apart from being a sketch for a tattoo it was an experiment for me, since I only work with graphite but this time I wanted to use a carbon pencil which showed me the difference and the facility to make the coat. I can say it's my first job with a carbon pencil

The style you use is called within the world of tattooing as Neo-Traditional. The traditional neo-tattoo revisits the Old School trend, giving it new values ​​of the New School style, sometimes interspersed with ironic tints and without excluding a hidden look for parody.

I like this type of tattoos very much, they look quite realistic and fanciful at the same time.

At the level of drawing, it is quite difficult to draw this coat with the Neo-Traditional tattoo style, it should be noted that although some things are easy in freehand drawing, they are not at the time of tattooing and vice versa.

This is a small sketch for a big tattoo which I hope to share with you when this project ends.
