Scribbles 'n Lines || My Digital Scrapbook - #1 {Long Way To Happy}
Long way to Improve
Beginnings of my Digital Art journey
Off and on I have been dabbling around with the Sketch by Sony art app in an attempt to improve my terrible drawing techniques. Ever since I was a child I have wanted so bad to be able to draw decently. I watched my dad sketch and he made it look so easy, like it came as naturally as writing for him (although my dad's penmanship is horrible, he draws very well).
My mother would draw custom ring diagrams for the jewellers all the time and I could not believe how well designed they were! I thought it was so unfair that they didn't pass down that trait to their only child!
(They both love music as much as I do and passed that down from their genes, at least, and I passed it on to my son! [Seriously, there is research on the possibility that music taste/appreciation is passed down in genes and I totally believe it.])
So, big warning here - this art sucks and is VERY basic. A toddler who is destined to be an artist could do better than me I have no doubt. I am not yet looking for critique on my visual art, but comments would be appreciated, just go easy on me please!
(feel free to find any of my poem posts and critique those though! Here's a recent one)

My Daydreams
Just to switch up the mood a little and because I don't think either of these works are deserving of their own posts, I will share a bonus piece with you all!
This was originally hid away in my dA Stash for my eyes only, but after some months hiatus from scribbling, I was looking back on it and really liked it enough to share in my public gallery there, so here it is for you all to view!
I think I may make another one similar but spend more time on it.
And here it is in my dA gallery
Well, that's all for now, don't want to have to clean up if you 🤮🤢
I've been focused more on my writing lately but I hope that I will be inspired to work on my drawing again since I've logged back on to dA and been looking around. dA is always so inspiring, and I need to learn how to create some OC's to fill up my toyhou.se characters, which are sadly empty D:
