No More Weekly Updates?! What happened!

So I'm going to start this out by thanking those of you who still follow me despite my lack of posts. Thank you for the support! It's been a few weeks since I last made an update post concerning my art and the challenge I'm participating in, but I'm still going strong!

Honestly, my blog posts just weren't being seen. I'd check the view count and it was about 5 for a post, and to be completely blunt, it was discouraging. I wasn't sure who I was writing the posts for anymore if really no one was looking at them. So, in the end, I took some time off to recollect my thoughts and redefine my direction. But, that's enough of that, let's look at some art, shall we?

Valentine's Day Doki Doki Card: Yuri
Based on Day 32's theme "Make a Valentine's Day Card"

So this first piece is a small preview of the Valentine's day card I made for the Deviantart Valentine's event, as well as Day 32's theme. It's a fnished version of the Yuri sketch I did on day 32 in preparation for the card, but I wasn't able to finish the card that day. In the sketch I drew all 4 characters from the game 'Doki Doki Literature Club', however I never made cards for the other 3.

As you can see, a lot of small fixes and refinement went into making the final version of the Yuri card. Overall I pleased with how everything came out, even if I only managed one card.
In general, my art has been getting better day by day.

And this picture was after playing way too much Stardew Valley. Despite me just doodling something for fun, I really do like the shading and smoothness of this piece.

I've also been dabbling a bit with pixel art!

Admittedly the theme was kind of odd, but it inspired me to do something new!
