Love Charms and Ornaments
This is a sample of love charms and ornaments I enjoying making -- I've made hundreds as I love to give them as gifts and they also sell well.
These first two shots are of how I package them (the more elaborate hearts that have 10's of hours of bead embroidery into them) if they are done to the nines.
I just can't see spending all those hours embroidering one of these and then not making something great for them to live in -- these kinds of appliqué and quilted folios are pretty easy to make and I make them with a pocket on one side to put my card and any other info in, and then for whomever gets them to house personal stuff pertaining to the charm and its use.
The charms I make have a small mojo type vessel in them with herbs and roots and the such that I have grown and prepared in my apothecary.
I enjoy making things to bring love, beauty, art, and nourishing energy into life, my folkways have that slant as a Venus ruled person.
The ornaments do not have a mojo in them and are just for the beauty of hanging on a door knob, chair finial, tree, ect.
I enjoy adding stones and other natural items to the glass and crystal seedbeads.
