A Small Door, A Big Piece of Art

A Small Door, A Big Piece of Art

I think this post — and especially the photo I’m sharing — can easily fit into the kind of content appreciated in this community.

Yesterday, during my usual lunch break walk from work, I came across a small door leading to an agricultural area. What caught my attention immediately was a brand-new graffiti piece painted on it.

I don’t know who the artist is, but I truly loved the final result.

The flower painted on the door, combined with the surrounding traditional volcanic stone wall so typical of the Azores, created a beautiful contrast between urban expression and local identity.

For me, this can definitely be considered Art as well. 🌿✨

I assume the creator/painter put his name underneath. Which should do. I agree with you this graffiti is special and good taste. It fits great.

Yes, of course. The artist signed his work... however, what I meant to convey is that I do not know him within the regional context where I currently am. Have a nice weekend... Cheers :)
