Dancing Tree - office art by @mariandavp

Well it's been a while since I've drawn a tree, and you know how much I like to paint trees...

But I also felt like drawing a nude or something figurative.

So I did both.

After all we are very much like trees... rooted and restricted by our dna, our early experiences, the ideas we've been taught to believe in. Still, we all strive to dance freely, show off a unique personality, travel long, fly high. We lift our hands high to celebrate, to wave, to be seen, to threaten, to pray... just like the trees extend their branches to the sky!

I used only colored office pens for this drawing and random lines for the landscape. Here are some photos from the process.
