Thanks for your suggestion, but I'm not seeing that working. I wrote

sports/contests/games/fights that could be played/fought/won. Preferably one-on-one contests, not group-sports!

Also, this is fiction... We're not actually going to play these. It's about coming up with ideas how these fictional Vagabonds would fight eachother in a fictional environment/battle/situation. Hope that makes it a bit clearer!
