Autumn is a season of the Heart.
I love autumn and winter. Autumn for the heart and Winter for the soul.

Fall always reminds me of P. B. Shelley's lines -
"We look before and after and pine for what is not. The sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thoughts ."

Autumn is like the last sigh. The last breath, before all is frozen beneath a blanket of white. It is the last flicker of a dying flame that burns the brightest.

This is my Ode to Autumn ... :)
My watercolor vignette ...

"As nature breathes its last sigh .....
Sorrow and memories burn high.
All is set ablaze in hues of fire.
Everything is aflame with the last desire.
Tall birches turn a colour of gold.
Maple is soaked in a red so bold.
Brown leaves like yellow pages, rustle as I walk.
Crimson leaves like drops of blood, fall from the top....
As nature breathes its last sigh .....
Sorrow and memories burn high...... "
