Fairy Fern
Fairies on a rainy day
Hidden amongst the ferns and sheltering from the rain under curled up hellebore leaves are tiny fairies. The fairies sit waiting for the sun to come out so they can help the spiders mend their webs and dry off the wings of bumble bees.
These winged creatures are so small and shy that unless you are patient, still and quiet you are unlikely to ever see one.

@opheliafu hehe I love this little fella. There is a long history of fairies here in Newfoundland. Many stories told to us as children. These are deep intricate stories of good and evil and the roles played by the fairies in the lives of our people. Never travel through the forest at night without bread in your pocket ;)

Fairies are everywhere in the natural environment. They take care of plants and animals, with the company of elves, goblins and other creatures. If you are not humble to nature, you will easily suffer an accident, for example, biting by a bee, step in something stinky, scratching by a branch, or falling into the stream. :)))
