Early Warning of Tsunami
Indonesia as a region that is on many earth plates such as the Pacific plate, the Asian plate, the indo Australian Plate , and a variety of smaller plates must always be aware of the movements of the plates that can trigger tectonic earthquakes. Moreover, Indonesia is also located on two very active mountain paths, namely the Jalal Circum Mediterranean which stretches from the Alps, the Himalayas and into Indonesia via Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara and banda sea. While the other mountainous paths are the Pacific circum, which goes through the Philippines, Sulawesi, Papua, and met with the Mediterranean Circum in banda Sea.
All of that must have efforts to anticipate the occurrence of disasters, especially tsunamis.

The GPS antenna on the buoy is used to determine sea level and irregular movements. This is an effective step to look for potential tsunami information that can be detected.
Innovative measurement and filtering procedures allow sea movement information to be received by the system.
Computer simulations are used to first calculate the risk factors for tsunami probability, taking into account population, infrastructure, wave height and arrival time information.
Thus efforts to obtain information can be more valid and measurable.
The data and information flow has changed to a Decision Support System (DSS) and the officer responsible for determining whether a tsunami warning will be issued or not.
There is also a need for competent and competent officers to make decisions based on appropriate analysis.
Once the information has been analyzed, various organizations will be warned, including government authorities and rescue forces.
Tsunami early detection is very important considering that tsunami waves have speeds like jet aircraft. According to scientists, tsunami wave heights can even reach up to 30 meters.
A tsunami early warning system can help carry out emergency evacuations and minimize casualties when a disaster is happening.
If within ten minutes a tsunami early warning does not occur, the officer must immediately revoke the early warning and announce through various official media. This is all to avoid anxiety in the community.
