The Birth of Venus (Skeleton Version/Anatomy Practice)
This drawing came out thanks to a task left to me by my anatomy course teacher, he told all of us in the class to do a work of rebirth, but instead of being an exact copy that we did as a skeleton, I decided to do to the Venus of Sandro Botticelli from his painting "The Birth of Venus", here with you the result.
The shadows of the drawing are made with pencils 8B, 6B, 4B, 3H, and 2H, sometimes use the flexible eraser to give them some highlights or subtract a little shadows.
I started as I almost always do, which is starting from the left side following the right side, I have no record of the process but I did first the hair of the skull on the left side and continue giving shadows to the skull, spine, ribs, etc. After finishing the whole part of the bones, I decided to make the hair on the right side that was much more abundant, in this part it took me much longer but I feel it is one of my favorite parts of the drawing.
One of my failures, which can be clearly, are the hands, they are quite small, it is a defect that I have and I must continue to improve it.
Here I leave Botticelli's Venus, in case you want to compare this majestic work with my drawing practice.

Well done and rather haunting, original boticelli is one of my favs
Thank you very much @yidneth
Such a cool exercise ! I can see how studying the skeletal form can add to the understanding of how a pose works, where the body weight is distributed and such ! A very good foundation so that an artists does not create an anatomically incorrect designs :)
I also notice that you do make the hands small again :) As you say, it is very you! :D
I like her hair and the way you shade the skeleton, as well <3
Hey @veryspider, well, yes, the hands are small again but I'm trying to change that, I think, I just need a little more practice. Thank you for comment <3
