RE: New Acrylic Painting "FUD" [incl. Making of]
I can understand what do you mean with "self-critical", normally I can't assess the results of my works critically that is why my husband is the great indicator. I usually show him and ask what does he thinks, unconsciously I look at the expression of his face and you can't believe I immediately know what he thinks, if it is good or not if I need to change something to improve it. Do you also have Kritiker at your side?
Yes, my seven year old daughter is often my first indicator. It's really nice to re-watch the work through the eyes of a child. And my wife usually also gives me some valuable feedback. But I absolutely love Steemit for providing me feedback, the quality of that is so much higher, than in any other social media, I tried before. (And sometimes people at Steemit are even asking, if my art is for sale ;-)
Have the same opinion, have you sold any of your works. I may be very greedy but at present I prefer to keep my ones may be because I still want to be reminded about my development skills. Thank for your chat today @shortcut and you do not need to upvote :)
I sold several of my works using the @steembay bid bot already (and some digital artworks directly.) Sometimes I also want to hold back my works, because I think about doing an exhibition sometimes in the near future. But it's also important to let go :-) Good luck with your development and also thanks for the chat. I often upvote comments, that I find valuable, to support this kind of interaction :-)
