Pink Sunset
Here's another piece I created on Art Rage.
I called it "Pink Sunset".
The Inspiration For This
I wanted to try some different colours from the previous earthy tones.
In this case I was thinking of the colours of a pink sunset - rather obviously.
I hope you like it. Also (as I usually say) feel free to use it in your own posts if you can find a use for it.
I might try getting some prints made of these to see how they translate as actual physical works.
How It Was Created
It was created on my Ipad and finished on my Mac using ARTRAGE.
This is an app I particularly like because it simulates the textures and feel of real brushes and other media without being overly complicated.
It is also available on Windows and MacOs and gives you many of the features of Corel Painter for a fraction of the price and doesn't require the monster system which that application necessitates.
BTW if you have any other recommendations for simple painting apps (Iphone or Desktop) that have realistic media please let me know.

@thecryptofiend The artrage magjc continues !! Frankly speaking, I liked the orange hues better because I can not relate pink in my mind to Sunrise. However, the wavy hypnotic form of the lines is superb. Thank you for sharing. I have dusted off the art rage in my iPad and done a couple of doodles. Nothing close to what you produce but at least I acted on the inspiration from your posts. Upvoted.

Artrage sounds great. You brought back so many memories when you mentioned the "Corel" art software packages. CorelDraw 10 used to be the benchmark standard for me back in the day, lol.

you know, art is selection from life, and isolating on one aspect can be dramatic and in some instances, can even be pornographic! I've noticed that photographers will use extreme close-ups of say, architecture, to produce an abstract effect. I think you're doing much the same thing by manipulating colours and texture on ARTRAGE. Is it art? I think so. I like the effect and the colour gradation which is similar to Jupiter sunset. I sold art when I was in university and people paid exorbitant sums to find a canvas that would match their room's decor...just saying, but that might be another application :)

I think you can draw something more interesting. This is a little abstract. After you will spend more hours with this tool, the pictures will look better and better.
I like abstract pieces. I think it is a mistake to think they are not interesting just because you don't find them as interesting.
I like it however if you are posting colors try to add a bit story or your motivation for the color. Thanks for sharing

The dark and bright pink are the color of our bakeshop and sign lol. Love the texture. Fantastic job! I subscribed to a Youtube channel that has artrage videos after the first one you made.
