Sometimes you set out not with an idea of what you want to paint, but merely a feeling, For me it was thinking about all the countless worlds out in the inky depths of space that have been silently revolving around their parent star or planet for hundreds of millions of years, without anyone there to witness it. The seas of hydrocarbons and waters gently sloshing against the shoreline, the alien cloud formations from the differing atmosphere and gravity, and entire cliff ranges that rise up and sandblasted away in time without anyone having known they were there...
