The bloodbath carries a mysterious hundred years in Antarctica

in #art7 years ago

A recent study has found out the source of the bloodshed - a mysterious, centuries-long mystery in Antarctica.

106 years ago, Australian geologist Griffith Taylor discovered the glacial red waterfall named after him. This falls into the West Bonney Lake.

Bloodshed is a challenge for researchers over the past 100 years.

Initially, the origin of this weird waterfall was thought to be due to red algae. However, by 2003, the scientists identified the salient colors of iron oxide and the water of the waterfall, mostly from saltwater lakes 5 million years old.A recent study from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the Colorado College confirmed that glaciers not only had bottom pools, but also their own water systems that had survived millions of years.

 Condition of bloodfall formation.

They use echolocation to track the flow of water. What keeps the water from freezing is the permanent hydraulic system, in which the heat energy produced by freezing causes the surrounding ice to melt.

Waterfalls are considered to be "where the time stops," with archaic organisms that attract scientists and give them the opportunity to study the viability of life on another planet without drilling down to the ice.
