Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #122 'Separated Under The Blue Sky'
The name of this art photograph is: 'Separated Under The Blue Sky'
If someone asks me to describe term "separation" in just one picture - this would be the one! As soon as I noticed the pigeons, I was so sure that I have a really interesting piece. The pigeons are entrapped within the square concrete structure which takes roughly one-third of the canvas. They are also separated from one another with a concrete barrier between them. What's more, they are turned away from each other!
Take a closer look at that concrete structure covered in patina and defined by hard straight lines and then focus on the beautiful blue sky before the rain, above it. Then look at the bottom of the image at the darkest area. Both sky and the dark part surround the concrete as if giving a message of their own. Is there a choice or the separation is the already a chosen path? We would, of course, choose the blue sky, right? :)
The contrast between very saturated blue sky, some colour in the square structure, and just a touch of green in the dark area is also an interesting point to think over. The white pigeons are birds of peace, ever since the ancient times. These two are pigeons, but they are definitely not white ones! ;)
Was that a statement about peace and separation in our world?

Great post there and a lot of chords were struck in me. That last sentence was epic and really deep :) You are a deep thinking and really dedicate time to your work and and that alone makes me try to put my self in your shoes and try to see what you see.
Pigeons are amazing! They thrive all over the world, side by side with humans. Some cultures believe they represent the spirit, others love, but arguably they are most well-known today as a symbol of peace.
The sky and dark area really depicted seperation. Each of them passing their own message.

Beautiful pic of nature in parallel existence. That blue sky is the richest, yet ominous. The skies I see when its time for rain are never this deep blue they are a murky beige and grey. With big fat dark clouds that can send chills down one's spin. And you can feel the moisture in the air. The Pidgeons shown look like its life as usual, just hanging out on the concrete ledge enjoying the view or are they preparing to hunker down for the inevitable rainstorm. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful wisdom made simple @velimir.

One can't ignore the sadness and gloominess of the scene despite of the beautiful weather.
This photo tells us the importance of "Heart Weather (as I call it)". If Heart Weather gets ill everything looks dull no matter what surroundings are; rainy or bone dry, green lush or desert....
