Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #391 'Miniature Nature'
'Miniature Nature'
Isn't it interesting that a photograph of a simple but rich object, shot in macro and treated right, can produce such an interesting result? I have no clue what are the little round things looking like small fish pods but I liked them enough to create this image. Maybe if there is a botanist out there, we might find what they are. :)
Notice what I did with the light. The middle of the frame is circularly lit and the edges, especially corners are quite dark. If we talk about colour, it is reduced to sepia toning. It is an old way of stylization that took root years ago. Still quite pleasing to the eye. Like an evergreen song. :)
The contrast is very high, even though it wasn't achieved by additional lighting but rather by the reflectiveness of photographed objects and extended tonal intensity. It adds a bit of drama, needed to make a point.
Enjoy! :)

Technical shooting questions are not as impressive as the compositional solution, amazing and even fascinating.
Photography could be called: what the sea left behind! Congratulations, @velimir. I who live near the sea observe that you have caught an image that children on the beach might call treasures. The sepia tone achieves the effect of the old and makes one believe that we are in front of an old photograph. I like that color that smells of autumn and bare trees! Greetings
It looks like an ancient photo. Macros unveil unexpected universes. ^__^
It is very beautiful and looks like ancient history. Like a discovery that you made on your way :)
Hello, first of all I beg you pardon because Im gonna translate your picture meaning. In my opinion by mixing the colors to another things means the nature is not easy to understand how they were created and once you deny how beautiful they are, the more confused you are. Thank you
