"Head Start"
So I came to terms with the fact I was an alcoholic about a year ago this month. About six months later--after a year filled relapses and a very difficult recovery--I discovered I liked to paint. I've more or less continued to do it since November 2018, and it turns out I'm not bad at it. Lately, I've been trying to develop my own personal style and make art filled with more personal meaning. I painted this last night in one such attempt. Please let me know what you think! If anyone knows anyone who has struggled with alcoholism or addiction, I hope you can appreciate this image.
