The fruit of the tree of knowledge.
Slow start with coffee grounds

My mom puts the coffee grounds in left over coffee containers, I pour many of them in the garden, this one I save to play with in the making of #artcycling projects... ok now on with the show... let’s speed things up 📽⏱

Setting up up the vintage iPhone 6+ I begin the time lapse recording and build out the little world in front of me. The time to let it dry I splat it upside down on a painting as it felt ugly to me so I left it to dry. During this time I jump on my bike

I have the pull of intuition to go visit my good friends Zach and his pops Peter.
Along the way the sun feels warm on my skin this autumn day in the SouthWest desert of New Mexico. October is the best month of weather we experience here in my opinion. As I ride along I think of what perceptions people have of “Americans” as I see a contrasting view of the lives being lived around me.

The fence around this small adobe says American

The architecture here makes for beautiful photos taken with iPhone 6+ editing in camera app to get the feeling of punch I enjoy in photography.

Ahh the contrast in this convertible Vette in downtown parking lot.

Flairs of sun ☀️ solar capture
So many more beautiful views I see along the ride that I enjoy to myself, I will take this ride again to capture more of this beauty to share with you.
I visit with Zach and Peter and I will share this story once Zach gets his steem account setup.
More on Zach later for now here is a photo I took of him and his daughter Gaia

So a day goes by and I pull back the popsicle box to see the results of drying and it is beautiful

This is a new way to play for me and it is inspired by the idea to share how you can make art with minimal materials in artcycling

Well done
Amazing, i have never seen Photo like this
Another beautiful piece! I don't have any names that pop in my head yet. Love the colors too. When I look at it I feel that all my senses are affected. Smell, sight, sensations, sound... You have captured the essence of witnessing this awe inspiring place.

I love you work and the inspiration that lead to it... very creative and earthy.

Curious is your name from the Egyptian Anka and Polo like Marco? @ankapolo

i've done some local regattas, but its also my dream to liveaboard. Catalinas are great! and anything above 27 (as you said) is a good size to live on. My sailing goal is also to sail the whole Caribbean on a +30 footer (preferably)... then go to Ecuador through the panama canal... but i need a boat first :). I'm happy to find a sailor here though... (not many sailors on steemit that i know of). I like catamarans as well, they are great for comfort and beaching right into the picture-perfect beach... but personally i see myself more on a mono-haul, as i like racing and challenging weather ;)

you made my name origin sound way cooler than it is so i accept your proposition ;D

Cool I am planning to build a solar catamaran to navigate the great loop from the Great Lakes down the Ohio to the Mississippi down to the gulf and back up the ICW along the eastern coast and back up the Erie Canal to the Great Lakes. This is a 7000 mile loop and can give me a platform to do my art and photography and see all of the nature along the way.
I do enjoy the sailing of small boats like the Catalina 27 I built a screened in porch that is the same size to feel what the space would be like to live in. I love the challenge of sailing and the freedom it allows. I have found a few sailors on this platform just check #sailing out now and then. I follow anyone I find on that tag. I can see steem working as a basis for many sailing communities. The long term storage of the blog Blockchain can allow for shared information about cruising and other sailor to sailor resources. It also can help to earn an income as a live aboard.

Oh earthy I love that description it does feel earthy. In a way I am playing with building an island and I thought that may be the direction of this piece and yet it grew into a tree.
I see you are into sailing ⛵️ I love sailing and am planning on building a catamaran to sail around the world. I may buy a little Catalina 27 first as they are cool little boats and really big enough for me to live on. I am so attracted to the sea and yet I live in the middle of a desert 🌵What sailing have you done and what are your dreams of sailing ⛵️ do tell I am all ears 👂

i really like the tone of blue you used on some of the rice @allowisticartist:-) this is such a cool school of art - the use "anything and anything" method. really organic way of making pieces, with so many textures and changes/decisions as you go. thanks for posting this!
have a great day,
HA

It is funny that blue is a bingo markers ink I poured on the sand. It flowed down and stained the rice. Totally a surprise and the first time I used rice in a work of art.

All part of Allowing it to be. I really wanted throw it away after the first step of it so glad I took a bike ride instead.

Wonderful, It looks like you had a great time and really enjoyed your activity. That is what matters the most. End result is amazing btw.
So Cool

Thanks I do have FUN happy to share.

I love to play and this play is a surprise of what the bingo ink did with the rice. I love the colors.

I play like the little Vincent from 1979

Hi @allowisticartist
That was a really cool post, lots of enjoyable images.

Speaking of enjoying images I love your little neighbor https://steemit.com/norway/@erlendgroseth/say-hi-to-my-neighbor
So cool that it just chilled there to let you take the photos. That red hair is so amazing. Nature is so beautiful and we are all surrounded in beauty the key is to see it to look for it. I look forward to seeing more of your images and the world from your unique perspective.

Hi @allowisticartist

Just read your latest post https://steemit.com/h/@stevecoin77/you-all-rule-thanks-for-being-awesome-20171010t20364203z
And I totally agree people here are so nice and supportive it is so cool to see a platform that rewards kindness it is indeed a new approach and one I think has a power beyond imagination. We are seeing the birth of a paradigm shift. I began to notice the idea that collaboration is more powerful than competing. This is a few years back and I continue to watch as the world wakes to the idea that we are all one people of one mind heart complex with billions of unique points of view. As we wake to this the sharing and co-created-incidents things line up and paths cross of those who are ringing there heartstrings in harmony. Fancy way of saying I get you Dude.

We are the children that shall inherit the kingdom . :) i too have seen the way our old way of thinking has acomplished here on our world and definatly embrace the change of sharing possitivity and love throughout the earth . The warriors of light were few and far between some years ago , but i have a feeling that we are all throwing our positve tgoughts to the universe in unison now :) i want a great world for my boy to live in and hope he never has to see the 25 years tgat i did . All i can do everyday is try to be more kjnd than the last and be a better person tgan i was yesteday . Love shall reighn supreme in our lifetime :) ya

Be kind and make the world around you better in the now resonate love and you bring into your reflections of reality this energy you carry and your son lives in a beautiful now with his loving father. All power in in the now.

Cool so glad it found some happy eyes. I am thankful for the follow and returned the favor. I look forward to sharing more with you.

Thanks @allowisticartist never stop being awesome :)
