ART EXPLOSION WEEK 36: Theme CITY. My Entry

Hello Steemians!

After a long time ago without participate in the Art Explosion Week Contest, I'm back with this Animated Gif that shows a graphic interpretation of the city where I was born: Caracas.

Its based on a very simple and fast sketch that I drawed tryng to integrate several icons of my city, like the Central Park Complex, the "Previsora" Tower, the Metrocable that communicates the popular zone knowed as "San Agustín del Sur" with the central zone of the capital, and, of course the "Ávila" mountain that embrace all the city, a very significative and iconic natural park that hides fantastic stories and places related to UFO´s avistments, eccentric scientists (Like Dr. Knoche´s castle) and old stories about the spanish conquers and the Indigenous resistance.

I'like very much the theme of the week because it fits very well with a personal project that is just in the pre-production and writing process: a comic about the city were I'lived and passed many years of my life. This was like the first step for me to start to sketch and draw about it.

Here is part of the process of digitalization of the drawing, colorizing, and the adding of a little bit of animation for the final Gif.
