A Colorful Approach

Hi there, I'm Sara and I'm happy to be here on Steemit, hopefully sharing some colorful artwork that will inspire or soothe depending on perspective. My first creation was done on the solid white backdrop of my mom's leather sofa with a blue Bic pen, and it was also my most painful creation! Unfortunately I lack awesome drawing skills, but I make up for it with my ability to piece geometric shapes and/or template shapes together to create a larger scene. Being an abstract artist allows me the freedom to make beautiful mistakes :D I also have a love for markers, Prismacolor mainly but I've been expanding and playing with some Tombow markers. Each piece is colored by hand, but on the rare occasion I've been known to put oil on canvas, or create digitally. Anyway, I thought I'd share a pic of myself from last fall with my little table of goods that was part of a local art thing. Don't mind the goofy look on my face, I'm usually a reclusive person so being out in public like that was....liberatingly painful? haha.
