RE: [CR] The lesson of watercolor rose
It's just a small album with A5 sheets. And there is not very thick paper. I tried to do this job quickly because the moisture was drying in a moment on the sheet. And there is no texture at all. The paper is completely flat, not very suitable for wet watercolor work. Sometimes artist have to work on such material ))). Therefore, the next lesson, where I drew another flower, will be devoted to drawing on almost dry paper. Thank you for attention and comment!
What's the ideal type of paper for a watercolor painting? I will try to check out the new post to see how you work your way through painting on an almost dry sheet😀
Cotton paper is considered ideal. But it's quite expensive. you may use papers more easier, but then you need to look at its density. The denser, the better for watercolors ; )

Ooh... The density of the paper is what counts. I keep learning every day and that sure is cool. And, actually my first time hearing of a cotton paper (that's it in the photo, right?)
Yes, I specially found a photo of some paper for you see ; ))
Thank you so much!😊
