Thank you very much, @macoolette. You are so kind ; ))) Yes, the paper can be wetted. But someone draws on dry paper. In the end, the such drawings will be different.
In your experience, which is better? The wet paper or the dry one which you draw straight on to it? What's the effect of wetting the paper again?
It all depends on the grade and density of the paper. According the preferences each artist draws differently. Someone wets the sheet, while others paint only on dry paper, but someone can still combine. For example, you can wet the sheet not much or partially, make the main blurred spots, and then draw on the dried paper.
And some artists wet the sheets very abundantly to draw always on a wet basis. In this case all the elements of the picture will be blurred.
If the paper is well dried after the first layer of watercolor, you can easily wet it again, but carefully : )
