Oh, Deer... (soft pastels - Talens Rembrandt)

This is mainly a tryout, I tested the old soft pastels. After a talk for hours with copilot, who isn't very updated, the only conclusion was that my numbers and colours differ from the other boxes.

Copilot was helpful after I typed all the numbers + colours printed on the labels what I was missing. Well, if it comes to missing I found another box with 30 pieces (portrait printed on it) so I took it. All of a sudden the missing colours been reduced to 2. Lucky me.

I watched a few videos and learned a few things but there's no way I will buy the special pastel paper. Who knows one day, but I don't consider myself good enough to waste expensive paper.

I have noticed that these soft pastel crayons crumble less easily and are much harder to wipe off than the old ones I borrowed from the teacher.

The process took a few hours till I decided to give up. A test shouldn't be a finished piece. I hope to buy some pencils to try out a different way.

The painting isn't sprayed/varnished (yet) I will save it underneath a piece of bking paper since it reminds me of my dear late uncle and the words he once said to me.}
