simply that book in himself

My experimental book sculpture is an "ode to the book".

It shows the origin book-character and the pure sensuous charme of the materiality. It can be seen as a balance for the flood of information of the digitalization-aera. The book loses his sence and the focus on his content. I would like, if my objects will be seen as a tribute in the book at himself.

This Exponate has grown out of a pile of paperbacks. It is not publishes yet on my website www.buchskulpturen.jimdo.com.
