Look at this place, only half an hour away from Hallstatt Austria!

The village of Bad Aussee is just about half an hour away from Hallstatt Austria. This picture is from one of the most beautiful lakes I know - lake Grundlsee! Imagine you can sit at that table, overlooking the lake and have one of the amazing Austrian cakes ("Torte"). Life doesn't get any better than that!

Take your time in Austria! Do not rush through! The slower you go the more magnificent your travel experience becomes! A smaller trip just through the "Salzkammergut" lake region is WAY more fulfilling than a grand, rushed trip through all of Europe. The flavor of the food comes out when you slow cook it. Same goes for traveling! :-) Smaller trips that savor the lake region are the key to a magnificent experience in life that you will cherish forever!
