Good Friday, also in March Friday means the return of the posts that are part of the project #5cose that, an initiative that was born from the blog Twins books lovers that proposes for each Friday a thematic post, decided by all participants in the initiative, on 5 things whether books, TV series or the like. This week we are talking about books, or rather about their authors, to be precise those authors of whom we have read more than one book. Without wasting any more time we come immediately to the interesting part of this post:

Brandon Sanderson. I have currently read 6 books by Sanderson and I plan to read many more. The fact that this prolific fantasy author environments his stories dedicated to an adult audience in a unique universe called Cosmere in which some characters move between space and time has made me fall with all my shoes into the network of adventures of the Mistborn, the Knight Radiant and all the other characters that populate this huge universe. In Italy Brandon Sanderson's books are all published by Fanucci, while in English you can find them published by TOR (American publisher) and Gorillancz (English publisher).
Michail Afanas'evič Bulgakov. After reading and crowning The Master and Margarita as my favorite book ever, could I not continue to read anything else about the ironic Russian writer? Absolutely not. I am still far from completing the author's complete bibliography but year after year I continue to read and love these stories, always absurd, always pungent and always on the verge of the fantastic, which show the absurdity of a society like that of Russia in the first half of the last century.
Margaret Atwood. An absolutely prolific author of which I have read very little in comparison to her immense production but which deals with issues that deeply affect me. His books are full of meaning and after reading they always lead to reflection. Two of his most famous books have been drawn from two series that characterized 2017, namely Alias Grace (found on Netflix) and The Tale of the Handmaid (which in Italy was streamed on TimVision if I am not mistaken). To get closer to the author I recommend The Tale of the Handmaid, which after more than 30 years is a book of a shocking relevance.

V.E. Schwab. I have read all the adult production and one of her books, YA, of this young Anglo-American author. I have to admit that I prefer it when writing books for adults (the series of A Darker Shade of Magic, Magic in Italy) over YA (This wild song is available in Italian) but I strongly admire the ability of this author to build worlds and her writing style, which is absolutely involving. Moreover, even if this is not his literary production, I admire very much his very honest and sincere way of showing the true face of the writer's work, who does not live in a way made of rainbows and inspiring muses, but has to fight every day with successes and failures. Following it on social media is a bit like watching, as external viewers, the birth of a novel and, in a way, makes you a bit of an aunt proud when the book is published.

White Pitzorno. From the meaders of my childhood she always emerges again. I have read almost everything she has published, in practice since I started reading until adolescence I have very few memories in which I do not have with me a book by the Sardinian author. Prisca Puntoni will always have a special place in my heart as a child, Lavinia approached me to reading, I ran around the world with Polissena in search of her true family. I have wonderful memories of these readings and I was not disappointed by his adult book I read (The Sexual Life of our ancestors). And if I had a child I would certainly have read the books of this lady who marked the childhood not only of those who read his books but also of all children who watched on TV The Blue Tree.
This week we have come to an end again, I actually left out of the list of verse authors, but these are the first ones that came to mind, I did not even go in order of number of books by the author / author I read, simply feeling. Which authors have you read the most books about? Let me know with a comment below!
Soon and, as always, good readings!
