We (the FlightGear people) speak not from a game, it is a simulation. We are not children, we are not gaming.
This program is in use in many flight schools for theoretical lessons and part of some elementary schools for children, they have classes and when you one time crash your aircraft you never will become a pilot, very restricting. For this reasons FlightGear is very very realistic in many things.
