Happiness is a bad thing, cut off scientists. Striving it can hurt the psyche, you poison your life and even shorten it. To experience happiness is not helpful. These are the findings of research psychologists from American universities "Yale" and "Denver" and from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Their collected materials seem to confirm this hypothesis. According to the data, people who in childhood were described as happy and carefree, generally live shorter than the darker your buddies.

To be implemented by happiness also not be advisable. Fortunately many dull the senses, people become irresponsible and prone to risks. Then risk often follow and troubles that can affect the quality of life and even its duration.

And if you think that's all wait. Self-help books that try to teach us to be happy, also carry a bunch of trouble. Readers them stuff themselves with information and "seeking" happiness - demand, which is almost certainly doomed to a number of failures because universal formula for happiness is not yet invented, let alone written and published a book. Disappointments make these people feel worse than before, they warn.

The next problem was that often the feeling of happiness is considered inappropriate in society - requires us to suppress not to upset more unhappy friends or just look stupid in serious work environment. This suppression carries serious discomfort.

The last nail in the coffin of happiness scientists driven to the conclusion that creativity in lucky people is less than in others. This leads to problems at work and general inefficiency.

Still, experts offer some advice - stop worrying that you should be happy. In the end, it can bring you true happiness! It's worth a try.
