Interesting game playing as white:

Black should not have given up too early, I think, as he still has a decent shot by resolving the upper-left corner of the board. The right side is also fairly unresolved, and plenty of potential can be made there with the wall of black stones in line 6. I do believe in cutting losses early, but this isn't the appropriate time for it.
