Balance
When your way out there in the sky,
Stop and talk to someone who cares.
You will slowly calm down,
And start over again.
You have found another way,
Light has so many paths to follow.
Remember what is good for you and soar,
But you will have to land eventually.
You have to learn how to land before
You can fly again.
If you fly too high, too fast,
You learn you cannot breath at all.
If you swim down too fast,
You lose consciousness.
So let us try to stay in the boat,
And dip our feet in the water,
A little at a time.
Then the elevator lifts you up,
But keep your feet on the ground.
We all have to set limits,
As life lets us see them.
Our challenges are so everlasting,
We can reach our goals, one at a time,
With the help of yourself and others.
You are now swimming and walking
Instead of flying and seeking,
You have found your balance,
One more step on your way.
