Netherlands: Local Crypto-Stock Exchange Removes Bitcoin Cash from Platform

The biggest crypto-purse in the Netherlands, BL3P, announced the discontinuation of the support of Bitcoin Cash on its platform.

Hard Fork justifies BL3P decision

BL3P's blog, the largest crypto-stock exchange in the Netherlands, is clear that it will no longer manage Bitcoin Cash and that a breakthrough has been planned for this purpose. BL3P breaks Bitcoin Cash support after this currency has confirmed its next hard fork.

"As the removal of BitCash required planning beforehand, the hard fork became a valid reason for the removal of Bitcash on BL3P," the blog said.

The transaction capacity of the BL3P network has been optimized with prices rising in recent weeks. Holders were preparing for a token drop on the new chain.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has always been much more volatile than Bitcoin (BTC). The BCH experienced significant price fluctuation as the BTC continued its downward trend over the weekend.

BCH "does not meet the requirements"

The Bitcoin Cash is referenced by BL3P by "Bitcash" and "BCash. BL3P's approach echoes that of OKEx, a cryptocurrency platform based in Hong Kong. It announced its split with Bitcoin Cash last April, saying that "insufficient liquidity" was the reason.

Launched in August 2017, Bitcoin Cash was created thanks to a fork of Bitcoin. Proponents of the new cryptocurrency said at that time that BCH transactions were faster and cheaper than those in BTC. Despite this, Bitcoin Cash did not get the hoped-for sucks.
