CineAtlas 60 | Week 3 — Silent Film | [Mozing Food Shop]

Making a silent film is a fun and creative endeavor. There is no dialogue, so acting, posture, facial expressions, and the environment become the main means of telling the story. If I were to make a silent film in relation to Mozing Food Restaurant, it could be very interesting and realistic. I selected the restaurant in the Shanir Akhra area of our country's capital, Dhaka, to make the film because it is very attractive. I have shown the location of the restaurant through the Steem-atlas pin code below.

First, I will think about what the story will be like. Since it is centered around a restaurant, the story can include food, customers, employees, and some fun events. For example, I can create a story where a man goes to Mozing Food Restaurant for the first time to eat. He is very hungry, but he has little money. Then he tries to get food in different ways, and this is where the fun begins. The restaurant serves Chinese, local food, and different types of coffee. The restaurant has some food tables set up on the side of the road, and a menu is provided.

Since there is no speech in silent films, the acting of the characters is very important. The man is sitting at the table with a hungry expression on his face and is looking at the price list of the food on the food menu, which is clearly visible in my video. On the other hand, the restaurant staff is working busily; some are serving food, some are taking orders and preparing food, and these scenes are visible in my video. You can see me and our Steemian friend @sojib1996 in full performance in the restaurant.

The environment of Mozing Food Restaurant also plays a big role in the film. For example, the beautifully arranged tables, lighting, and food menu are all beautifully shown on camera. This will help the audience understand how attractive the place is. Since this is a silent film, the scenes have been arranged in such a way that the audience can understand the whole story and learn about the restaurant's food just by watching it.

Background music is very important in silent films. Since there are no words, emotions have to be conveyed through music. For example, light and fast music can be used in funny scenes, and slow music can be used in sad scenes. This will help the audience easily understand what emotion is being felt at any given moment. The use of a camera is also very important while making this film. It has to be used properly to show facial expressions with close-up shots and to show the entire restaurant environment with wide shots. Apart from that, I have used some food pictures, such as burgers, juice, and hot coffee.
Cold coffee
The relationship between this silent film and Mozing Food Restaurant is that it is not just a location, but the main setting of the story. Here, a big story can be created through human behavior, love for food, and small incidents. By focusing on this restaurant, we can show how even an ordinary place can be part of an extraordinary story. The restaurant and the food arrangement are very important for making a film.

A very beautiful entry. The photography and presentation consistency is very elegant. I was very attentive watching your video. I saw a congested road and a food shop. Two active employees were working inside the store. But it seems like the videographer was a little too busy haha. Because the phone was shaking a little too much. Many wonderful entries. Wow visited a nice food stall, I especially liked the lighting decoration in front of this food stall. You were sitting in front of the stall and gave a nice smile holding the menu card which made us more attracted. I enjoyed your video attentively. You ordered cold coffee from there and showed its picture, it looked very tempting so I wanted to eat it. There were two employees working inside the stall and preparing the food. However, if the video could have been captured a little more steadily. The video was moving a little too fast for me haha. I wish you success in your contest.
