Map the Story #28 - "Regional Passport Office, Tangail".

Now I will participate in the "Contest! Map the Story on Steem Atlas #28" topic organized by @miftahulrizky. I will review the passport office in our city.

I went to this passport office located next to the courthouse in Tangail a few days ago. I went with my friend of mine to renew his passport. After going there, there were many people waiting for the serial number, so we decided to appoint a specific person to complete our work. People have been lining up here since 6 am to get the serial number inside, after a while the main gate was opened through which people came and went.

This is the only passport office in Tangail district where people from all upazilas and different regions come to this office to get their passports made and for passport related matters. If ever someone loses their passport or needs to renew it, then they have to come to this passport office with all the documents. There is a clean road in front of the passport office where vehicles are parked in a specific place. There is a parking space on the far left side of the main gate where you can park your bikes and vehicles. Then you have to enter through the main gate.

The main gate of the passport office is made entirely of iron and is very secure. There is a CCTV camera on the gate which is monitored 24 hours a day. After entering the main gate, you can see a series of people inside before you can see a main building in which passport production and distribution activities are done. The main building looks very beautiful and there are flower trees planted in some places outside. There are beautiful flowers blooming on the roof and next to the windows which look beautiful from the outside. The building is kept clean and tidy in the picture so that people can stand there comfortably.

There are many spaces in front of the building where there are chairs and seats to sit. A relatively large number of people sit here and when they are called in according to their serial, they go in one by one to submit their documents. Whoever comes here first and can sit will start from the first serial, so all the activities are conducted here according to the serial. You will see in your own picture that so that no one is bothered by the sun, a big umbrella has been provided every now and then. It is sun and rain resistant. Next to it is the second gate of the passport office through which the passport distribution center is entered. However, most people exit through this gate but enter less.

People sit in rows outside and they go inside at a specific time to submit their passport application forms. Since we had a guy we knew, he would do my brother's job, we didn't need a row. We went straight inside where the application forms were not submitted and waited to submit the application forms. There were many more people there to submit the application forms, which is the main room of the passport office. There is a good arrangement for sitting here, you can see many people sitting in chairs and there was a fan, sound speaker and AC in that room. All the activities in the room are monitored by CCTV cameras.

After some time, our acquaintance came and he took our documents for direct submission. Then my friend was called for singer and eye scan. He started his activities there. Basically, this is a government office so the activities here are a little late. If you think there is any corruption in this office or you are not satisfied with the work related to this passport, then you can submit a complaint here. There is a complaint box to submit any kind of suggestion or complaint. Apart from this, there is a huge signboard next to it which is known as the instruction board. The address of the instruction room is given here correctly, which shows what work is done in which room.

There are different rooms in the passport office, you have to go to that room according to your type of work. Basically, you have to go to room number 101 to submit the passport application form. However, the passport distribution is done in the main room, which you can see in the picture above. When you take the passport delivery, you must send the deposit slip you submitted when applying for the passport and take the passport delivery. Anyway, I felt hot inside the passport office, so I came outside and stood for a while. The natural environment outside felt fresh, especially when I saw the logo of the passport office on the main building of the passport office and there were numerous trees in front of it.

To go from one country to another, you definitely need a passport. So I came to my own passport office for our needs and at that time I photographed every step and tried to explain it clearly so that you can understand from the beginning what activities are done in a passport office. So our passport office is very modern and clean so that customers get the best service. I am very happy to review this government passport office.
