Assalamu Alaikum, I hope you are all well, Alhamdulillah I am also healthy and well. I am very happy to participate in the first week of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 31. This week's theme is "SLC31-W1: Shop and Share Challenge - Visit a Small Local Shop". And a big thank you to @josepha brother for organizing such a wonderful competition. Today I will share with you my experience of shopping and visiting a small grocery store in my area. Such small stores are an integral part of our daily lives. Although we have the glitz of supermarkets in our daily lives, the spiritual connection we have with the small grocery stores at the crossroads of our area cannot be found anywhere else. The grocery store I am writing about today is located just a few steps away from my house. Although it is an ordinary grocery store, it is very important for the people of our area. Today I visited the "Rahad Store" adjacent to the Eidgah ground in our Sastapur area of Narayanganj district. This store is located just opposite our Sastapur Eidgah ground. Like other grocery stores in our area, this Rahad Store grocery store is a very familiar name to all of us, young and old.

Location & Transportation: How to get to Rahad Store.

It is very easy to come to this 'Rahad Store' in front of Sastapur Eidgah Ground from any part of our Narayanganj district or its surroundings. I have highlighted some means below for your convenience:👇

✔ Chashara or Narayanganj: I think, if you come here from Chashara or its surrounding areas, then you can easily take an easy bike (auto), rickshaw or CNG and just mention Sastapur Eidgah Ground and it will drop you right in front of the "Rahad Store" grocery store. It will take only 10-15 minutes to come here from Narayanganj Chashara.
✔ From the link road or signboard area: If you come from Dhaka-Narayanganj link road, get off at the 'Shibu Market' area and from there you can take a rickshaw or auto directly to the "Rahad Store" grocery store in front of Sastapur Eidgah Ground.
✔ Personal Car: I think if you have your own motorcycle or car, then you can find the right way by typing "Sastapur Eidgah Ground" in Google Maps on your mobile and searching. If you come here in your own car, you will see our familiar "Rahad Store" grocery store just opposite the ground.

This grocery store's opening hours: When will you find it open?

This Rahad Store grocery store is open almost all day to serve customers. According to my knowledge, the regular opening hours of this store are as follows:👇

🕖 Morning Open: This Rahad Store grocery store is open every day between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM. Since the store is open in the morning, people in the area can get their necessary cooking ingredients as soon as they wake up in the morning.
🕥 Night Close: The store is open from 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM after the day's shopping and busyness. However, sometimes the store is kept open for a little longer for special needs or if there is a crowd of people in the area.
🗓️ Weekends: Generally, as a neighborhood or local store, it does not have any specific weekly holidays. However, according to the needs of the people in the area, Rahad Store is serving us 365 days a year.

This Rahad store in our Mahallah or neighborhood is an ideal grocery store, every inch of space inside and outside this store has been well utilized. The view from the outside of this Rahad store is very attractive. Because the packets of chips and snacks of different colors are hung vertically, which catches the eyes of the child shoppers from a distance.

Even when you enter this Rahad Store grocery store, you can see that all the items are very neatly arranged. Also, in the front of the store, there are various chocolates, candies and biscuits for children in glass and plastic jars. Right next to it, big bags of rice, pulses, sugar and flour are kept. Looking at the back inside the store, you can see that our daily use items and cosmetics, such as noodles, various types of spice packets, toilet tissue, Bhimbar, mustard oil, soybean oil, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. are very beautifully arranged. Although this Rahad Store grocery store is small, there is no shortage of products here.

The main reason I chose this Rahad Store grocery store is its location and variety of products. This store is located just a two-minute walk from my house. Even in front of our Sastapur Eidgah ground, it falls on my commute. Apart from that, it is a complete grocery store, where almost all the daily necessities are available under one roof.

This Rahad Store grocery store owner Masud Bhai is very friendly and he always tries to keep fresh products and good quality products. When a guest suddenly comes to our house, I buy breakfast or cooking essentials for them and this grocery store is my first choice because it is close at hand for everything. I come to this store mainly because of the time saving and the good behavior of the shopkeeper. I regularly come here to buy some or the other necessary things.

As soon as I stepped into this Rahad Store grocery store in our area, the smile of the shopkeeper and the collection of products around me captured my mind. I think that usually when you shop at small grocery stores in our neighborhood or neighborhood, you get a kind of homely feeling, which I felt here at Rahad Store grocery store today. I mainly bought breakfast and some necessary cooking ingredients for the house when I came home from office in the afternoon.

While shopping at this Rahad Store, I noticed that every product kept in their store was absolutely fresh and there was no risk of expiration. Here, especially starting from cooking spices to light afternoon snacks, I saved a lot of time by getting everything under one roof. This Rahad Store grocery store owner, Masud Bhai, explained everything to me with great patience, which made my experience more enjoyable.

Shopping at our Mahallah or neighborhood stores not only provides essential items, but also gives you the opportunity to interact with the people of the area. Shopping from these small grocery stores in our neighborhood is not only a necessity, but it is also an expression of our love for local traders. I am very satisfied with shopping from this Rahad Store grocery store and I think that such small initiatives make our lives easier.

As a long-time customer of this Rahad Store grocery store, I have a kind of attraction towards the store. However, to improve this Rahad Store grocery store in line with the modernity of today, I am presenting some of my personal opinions below:👇

Modern fridge and ice cream: I think that installing a large display fridge outside the store and keeping dairy products like ice cream, yogurt or cheese there will increase people's attraction to the store several times.
Store decoration and lighting: I have seen this Rahad Store grocery store, it is always very busy with the flow of customers. I also think that if the amount of light inside the store is increased a little and the shelves kept with products are kept clean regularly, the beauty of the store will increase many times more.
Increase the space a little: In my opinion, the space inside this Rahad Store grocery store is quite small. The space inside the store is very small compared to the products, which often makes it difficult for customers to shop here. I think that if the space inside the store could be increased a little and the products were arranged in a more orderly manner, the store would not only look nice, but it would also be much easier for customers to find products.
Digital Payment System: Nowadays, with modernity, carrying cash often seems like a hassle for young customers like us. In my opinion, if this store had merchant payment facilities like bKash or Nagad, shopping would have been more comfortable.

If the number of customers in the store decreases, what I will advise the shopkeeper to do:

The main strength of this small grocery store in our neighborhood or neighborhood is trust. If ever the number of customers in this grocery store decreases, then I will ask the shop owner to pay attention to the following:

Quality of the product: The store must always ensure that the products are fresh and of good quality. Because a bad product often causes regular customers to lose their customers.
Behavior and behavior: The shopkeeper should always maintain a friendly attitude with the customers. One thing to always remember is that the main capital of a neighborhood or neighborhood store is to build a good relationship with the customers.
Attractive offers: I think that sometimes this store can offer small discounts or 'buy one get one' offers on certain products, which will attract new customers to shop.

Review:
Rahad Store, from which you shop, is a nice place for shopping, and I recommend that you visit the store. I can see that the store sells a lot of grocery items.

Wait does it mean after 30 minutes of opening the shop, it would close and go for a break, and then open again in the afternoon do the same pattern and come back again towards evening, and operate in the same way, or was that part a typo error? Working for just 30 minutes can collapse the business. Having new modern facilities can improve the store a lot.
