BEATA Coffee, A Simple Coffee Escape During Eid al-Fitr

During the festive atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr, when many cafes choose to close and take a break, I found myself still chasing a good cup of coffee. As a true coffee lover, I decided to stop by a small roadside cafe along the Medan–Banda Aceh route, located in Lhoksukon. That’s where I discovered Beata Coffee.

At first glance, the cafe looks very simple. It doesn’t try to be luxurious or overly modern, but that’s actually what makes it feel comfortable. The design is minimalistic yet creative, with a relaxed roadside vibe that makes it perfect for a quick stop or a casual hangout. There’s something special about enjoying coffee in a place like this, especially during the holiday season when the streets are quieter than usual.
One thing to note is that this cafe focuses on machine-based coffee. They serve espresso-based drinks such as espresso, americano, cappuccino, and other variations. However, if you are a fan of traditional brewed coffee or manual pour-over methods, you won’t find those options here. Still, the espresso-based menu is decent and satisfying enough to enjoy.

What truly stands out the most is the price. Almost all items on the menu are incredibly affordable, with many drinks priced around 10,000 IDR. In today’s coffee culture, where prices can easily go much higher, this place offers a refreshing reminder that good coffee doesn’t always have to be expensive.

Overall, this experience shows that sometimes the best moments come from simple places. It’s not about fancy interiors or premium menus, but about the atmosphere, the moment, and a cup of coffee that hits just right. For anyone traveling through Lhoksukon during the holidays, this café is definitely worth a quick stop.

Out of pure curiosity, right after performing Isha prayer, I decided to come back here for another cup of coffee. And yes… here I am again, sitting in the same simple spot, enjoying the same calm vibe.
There’s something different about this place at night. The atmosphere feels more relaxed, the air is cooler, and everything just slows down a little. No rush, no noise, just me, a cup of coffee, and a quiet moment to reflect.
Sometimes, it’s not about finding the best coffee in town, but about finding a place that feels right. And somehow, this place gives that feeling. Simple, affordable, and just enough to make the night better.
Because in the end, a good cup of coffee, no matter how simple, can always make your day a little better
