More Weather

Last night Dauphin Island was under a flash flood watch with a bit of tornado watch thrown in for fun. While watching, I enjoyed a spectacular thunder storm with a good drenching rain. As the rain stopped, the wind picked up and I woke to the travel trailer rocking.

Dawn couldn't come quick enough for me. I was anxious to get to the beach and see what the storm kicked up. I headed out just after six AM finding only some sand art and a clear dawn. The temperature and steady wind drove me indoors quickly.
