Blue Dragonfly on Leaf

I rarely found a blue dragonfly, but in the late afternoon, when I was walking around the woods, I spotted this cute creature perched on the green leaves. It was around fifteen meters away from my place, and I knew it would be gone before I made a shot, and I did not want this to happen. So, as I used to do when dealing with insects, I had to be careful approaching its place. Lucky me, it was still calm and allowed me to get a few more shots of this beautiful winged insect. Thus, the dragonflies are a kind of unique insects that always draw us to discover them. Due to this, it was impossible to reach the dragonfly with a smartphone. I managed to take its photos with a DSLR from a long distance range, as well as the way to avoid its notice.
