Golden-Headed Cisticola "Cici Merah"
Here we call "Cici Merah," a bird that is often found swinging around the paddy field. In English is called the golden-headed cisticola (Cisticola exilis), also known as the bright-capped cisticola belongs to the family Cisticolidae. Golden-headed cisticola is usually brown and cream in color. The golden-headed cisticola is a small species, growing to 9–11.5 centimetres (3.5–4.5 in) long and weighing 6–10 grams (0.21–0.35 oz), with males slightly heavier than females. That was my second time finding them in the field, the same spot that I found the other day. So, seeing them a bit calm standing on the rope, I managed to take a couple shots which I knew, they were there for not too long. Here are some photos of the golden-headed cisticola that photographed a few days ago somewhere around the paddy field.
