Grote's Wasp Moth (Amata grotei)
I found this wasp moth somewhere around the grass on the hill. It was flying just above the surface of the grass when it noticed me coming and settled again when I was away. Moths are simply everywhere. I just noticed a few of them flying low and disappearing into the grass. In order to get the pictures, I had to wait until they came back out and try to focus on one of them. It's not an easy job to hunt them; patience is quite needed if I wanted to get a proper focus, so after spending some time, I was finally able to catch it. Moths are included in the paraphyletic group of insects that includes all members of the order Lepidoptera.
