Humpbacked Fly (Toxophora)
I want to come up with another species of insect, the humpbacked fly (Toxophora). Humpbacked is one of the little flies occasionally seen perched on the plant. It commonly lives throughout tropical countries. They resemble mosquitoes, but are actually classified in the order of flies. I found this insect around the bush near the village street. It is quite an impressive and unique fly, which urged me to hunt it down with my smartphone camera. Toxophora or humpbacked fly is the family of Bombyliidae, in the order Diptera.
