Jelly Ear Mushrooms

in Beauty of Creativity5 days ago

So, after dealing with the insects, I moved to another spot to look for mushrooms, and there I spotted these jelly ears on the rotten branch. As they were in the shady place, I decided to pick them out to open space for the shots. As always, it's great to find another type of mushroom that lives well on the rotten wood. Known as Jelly Ear (Auricularia auricula-judae), that usually seen in the woods. It mainly grows on rotten trees and on fallen branches, but occasionally you may also find it growing on other kinds of hardwood. Although some of these mushrooms are as soft as the jelly we eat with custard, many others are capable of reconstituting and continuing to produce spores when wetted after desiccation.
