Striped Shell Snail on Green Leaf
A beautiful striped snail was seen perched on a green leaf. Since it did not make a significant move, I decided to capture these photos with a DSLR. I noticed, at close range, that it was making a move with a single muscular ‘foot’, lubricated, trying to avoid my shots. So, I had to find some good shots before the dark. Snails are gastropods, mollusks with a single shell and a soft body. It is actually a common pest in the garden and in the woodland. Even it may be slow, it can quickly crash the plants.
