Two Mating Cupid Butterflies
I set out to the farmland, a place where I could possibly find many different insects that live around the woods. I arrived at noon, so I might have a lot of time to do shots. First off, I had to pass a narrow path that led me to the destination, but before I really reached there, I was caught up by two mating plain cupid on the little stalk. I decided to make a long stop to take their photos, and I was lucky they did not make a significant move, so that I had plenty of time to take shots. This butterfly is recognized as plains cupid (Luthrodes pandava)and includes small butterflies that look like Zizina otis. We commonly find this species in the woods, in the bus,h but sometimes they are busy flying during the daylight
